Born in Clawfield, Azure was half of a pair of twins born to a Seamstress and a Tailor. A peculiar young man, he grew up in a world that others could describe as “feminine”. Sewing gowns and tailoring suits for any class – as long as they could pay for it. Still, it never phased him. He loved the process of designing, listening and observing the client to be able to get these designs just right. With such a keen eye, he took inspiration from anything and everything; Paper, ink, spider webs, wood, the elements… Anything he could look at and give it an adjective, he would build on it. His rooms became cluttered with journals and sketchbooks, filled to the brim with designs and concepts for fashion lines.

After some time, one of the investors and fabric suppliers had come. Their money was being put to good use and their products creating elaborate designs… And yet with a change in the economy, the business was gradually becoming slower. They needed a way to get back out into the market; to be the face of New! and being On Trend! The designs his parents had given were too plain, too traditional compared with the modern designs. When asked to see their children's work to see if it was worth anything, Azure’s parents hesitated. Still, Azure was commanded to bring out any of his sketchbooks. Upon searching through them, it was decided that he had good taste. He would be the successor, being the eldest of the twins… But with his cocky attitude and stubborn behavior, he would have to get his head out of the clouds and his mind with business.

So, one of their investors recommended him to Imperial High, and he joined.

♚ Personality:

+  Loyal || Azure finds friends and companions to be an asset. Once he develops a deep connection with someone, it is difficult to get rid of him. He is incredibly loyal, and grows attached to people deeply. Once in any type of relationship, romantic or platonic, it is unlikely he will honestly speak poorly of them. In conversations he may call his friends or significant other “nerd” or “dork” or anything of the like, but it is more of a sign he considers you close to him. Only acquaintances are called by their surnames.

+ Attentive || Azure is quite observant in his day to day behavior. With his trained eye for fashion and how his family trained him to be observant on personalities to best design their clothing, he has become well trained in reading a situation and social cues. Depending on the person and his own attentiveness at the time, he needs some time to understand a person’s personality. He mainly uses this for his fashion designs and inspiration, but has shown to use it when he needs to get out of a rough situation with a peer. His observations are subtler in appearance; a glance in the mirror, walking past someone in the hallway, and things of a similar nature.

+ Tolerant || In terms of socializing, Azure is tolerant of most (if not all) people. It does not matter your sexuality, gender (or lack there-of), origin… He’ll probably think of you as a neutral or good person. It is difficult to get him to actually ‘hate’ anyone, even if he and them are on opposite sides in terms of opinions. He respects people’s choices and decisions. It is when someone gets violent or abuses their power that he becomes intolerant of their behavior, and will be blunt (as described below).

= Blunt || Azure is not afraid to tell it like it is. If your clothes don’t go well with your hair, he won’t hesitate to say it. He believes that honesty is what will get someone far in life, however in his case… perhaps a little subtlety would be better. On the brighter side, Azure will always tell you how it is. If he thinks a potential suitor is not worth pursuing, then he’ll tell you straight out and instead point you in a direction he finds better for you. Best choice of action; don’t ask him for honesty unless you are willing to take everything.

= Audacious || Azure is not afraid to think outside the box, which can either be great or down-right awful. He sees the world in a light of creativity, which seems to sometime crash and burn. While his ideas might help further a conversation or design, it may become incredibly difficult to get his head out of the clouds with these insane ideals.

= Stubborn || Once Azure has his mind set on something, it is difficult to move him away from it. He will find every path to get it, even if the end goal is seemingly impossible. If it’s getting a design to work or asking someone out, he’ll think every which way over until he gets what he wants. While this can be great for his work, it can give off an impression of obsession and perhaps insanity.

- Egotistical || Azure is, as easily said, a cocky bastard. He knows his talents and is not afraid to remind people of it. Compliments only enhance his ego, and he brushes off any “hate” or negative comments as something under the following categories; “jealousy” or “childish-ness”. This can make him seem to have a “holier-than-thou” attitude, which at times is painfully true - mainly in the world of design and fashion. Although he likes people, this creates tension between himself and other individuals.

- Perfectionist || From his years working in the shop, Azure has become a perfectionist on pretty much everything; Handwriting, Fashion, Writing, Culinary, Etc. This can stress him out to extraordinary levels, and make him lose sleep or refuse to eat. Whether it takes only a few adjustments or hours and hours of reworking things, he will strive to find his level of perfection. His ideals shift depending on the subject, and so it can be difficult to find his ‘perfection’.

- Self-Destructive || As mentioned above, Azure is a perfectionist – and will punish himself if he cannot get it. This behavior can range from just tugging at his hair to scratching his skin until he bleeds. Although he has never actively hurt himself (cutting, starving himself, etc.), it is more of a force of habit than anything else. It is difficult to get him away from this kind of behavior, and mainly it just takes some time for him to come to accept that he did what he could (even if he believes it should have been better). The only person who has been known to force him out of this state, currently, was his twin sister.

Azure’s biggest kept secret is his depression, which he covers up with false confidence and a cocky persona.

Between his shoulder blades is a tattoo of a Florida Lee.

Behind his left ear is a tattoo of three small ravens flying.

Azure is very possessive of his sketchbooks/drawing tools/designs and will physically tackle someone who tries to take them.

Though he acts like a smooth guy, Azure can get very flustered when he realizes he’s being flirted with by the opposite sex/gender.

    All in all, this was one of Azures more… calm moments.

    His back was propped up against the headboard of his bed, clad in more relaxed attire. His feet had been tucked under the pastel orange comforter, his white pillows sprawled out behind his frame as leverage. The young man looked almost serene, his hair laid over his eyes and his headphones in his ears. The only sounds that came from his person were the soft words as he would occasionally sing the lyrics to himself, and the soft ‘scirch’ sounds that came from his pencils... Perhaps the occasional hiss when a design went wrong and he would have to start over on a particular portion of the design. That was where the serenity stopped; His mind was reeling with ideas, his hand incapable of keeping up with the ideas blaring through his head. The poor piece of lead was becoming duller and duller with every stroke, before aggressively being sharpened and the cycle repeating. On his bedside table was a cup of coffee that he probably was not supposed to have in his dorm, but it kept him awake to finish putting his ideas onto paper.

    The sound of his roommate entering the room went entirely unnoticed, his mind to engrossed in his work and his music far too loud. As long as they didn’t touch him or bump his bed (which would ruin the sketch) he likely would pay them no heed.
