Gourmet & Fox.

That's what the CCG called them - like Bonnie & Clyde. The two ghouls had been hunting together for quite some time now, border-lining two years come the next week. The investigators on the case were driving themselves insane trying to catch either one of them, let alone both of them. Having the two of them off the streets would mean not only a large accomplishment for their division but also hundreds of lives saved. The two of them struck with such precision and care, but so swiftly that the Investigators wondered if Gourmet & Fox even had a District they favored.
How did they begin to refer to the couple as a couple? Well. It was simple.

Lovers were protective - especially Gourmet.

Fox, as tricky and sly as they were, got caught several times. Cornered with their Rinkaku as their only defense against the Quinques of the investigators desperate to exterminate them, Gourmet always seemed to be just in the neighborhood. He would distract the Investigators, swiftly picking up his companion and giving a peck to their masks snout. Or when Gourmet appeared with Eyepatch, Fox would be right behind them. Their combat styles were a dance, using the other as a reference when they sliced through the Investigators that dared to cross their dance floor with the blood of their own kind. Laughter would always ring from Fox's mouth, twirling their "tails" with such elegance that one could call the ghoul enchanting.
Perhaps it was this elegance that attracted the Grace of Gourmet. Or perhaps they knew each other without the masks? The CCG could only guess. Only those who knew the identity of Bonnie & Clyde knew of their reasoning - in reality, not even they knew.

The guests at Anteiku had been confused when Tsukiyama had strode in with his significant other on his arm, whispering sweet words in a language they did not understand. Employees were shocked when Tsukiyama put his hand on their thigh and instead of sending him through the window, they merely blushed and would playfully bat at their hand in a futile attempt of trying to get him to keep that kind of thing private. Their relationship did not falter when Kaneki had left with his selected group, the two being a small package. Fox preferred to work in the back ground, keeping an eye on Hinami when the others were working and coming up with strategies. The two seemed intent on staying together, through the disbanding of Kaneki's group and the evacuation / hiding of those from Anteiku.
Tsukiyama kept Fox with him, having them 'evacuate' into his 'safe house' (or rather, the enormous house) he owned. They seemed content living with one another, still going hunting but much less often due to recent events. No ghoul felt safe.

Still, even when everything was going to hell..

They were a killer couple.
